A nice lady found me in a box when I was 6 weeks old. It was next to a road and she was the ONLY one who stopped to see what was in the box. I was SO hungry and scared. All my brothers and sisters had climbed on top of me to get out, but I was so small I got stuck inside. The lady took me to the shelter but after a few days I heard them say they needed more space. I didn’t see how I was taking up so much room, but they said I had to go and they put me on a list to be killed!
Thankfully, Chaotic Spyder Foundation saw me online and stepped in just in time to save me. I even heard that a very special person named Oprah Winfrey gave the Foundation money to sponsor me! They got me out of the shelter and into a foster home where I was cuddled, given a bath, fed, and even saw a doctor. As I got a little bigger I was lucky to get to go live with the Chaotic Spyder Foundation’s founder! I started training to be a service dog, but I had an issue with my leg as I got bigger. The doctors told us they had to fix it or I wouldn’t be able to walk at all when I got 6 months old! The doctor was very nice. I was scared, but I tried to be brave. I ended up having to wear a splint on my leg and a cone for a whole month! I didn’t know what was going to happen or if I’d get to walk again by myself, but I did. I’m now all healthy and back in training, I was so happy to find out that my surgery didn’t make me have to leave the program and I can still try and become a service dog for a child in need. My training is going great and I even get 1 day a week where I can go to camp and play ALL DAY!
