Welcome to our newest service dog in training ~Thoth!!!!!!

​Please help us in welcoming Thoth. He was pulled today from a high kill shelter in Texas from the euthanasia list. He is 8 weeks old and a bundle of puppy adorableness. All was not so rosy for poor Thoth in his short life - he was found in a box by the side of a rural road and brought to the shelter a few days ago. The sign on his box simply said "FREE." Lucky for little Thoth, though, he didn't perish out there in the summer heat though he is emaciated. When we saw his picture we just had a feeling he may be a good fit for our service dog training program and through the help of some absolutely AMAZING people (Pam and Teresa you know who you are) we were able to coordinate a local foster and also transport up to the Northeast once his quarantine period is up later in July.

​His foster let us know from the moment she picked him up today that he is quite the character and wicked smart. Within hours he understood "no" and "leave it." Tomorrow is the vet for his puppy once over and initial vetting so we'll know more about him then, but for right now we are all thrilled he is safe and is joining the Chaotic Spyder family...well on his journey to helping a child in need...and coming from such humble beginnings we cannot think of a better pup to join us.
